Friends and supporters packed the Cielito Lindo Restaurant in South El Monte on February 10th to celebrate the fund raising kickoff of the Teresa Hernandez for Congress campaign. It was the first of eight fund raising events scheduled throughout Southern California. Attendees included local business owners and residents eager to see a change in the congressional representation in the 32nd district.

In anticipation of the confirmation of Congresswoman Hilda Solis to the position of Secretary of Labor, Teresa and her campaign team are rapidly organizing for the special election to be called by Governor Schwarzenegger. A campaign headquarters will be open in a few days.
